Scarlet Ibis (asian species), is also known as the Asian scarlet ibis or indian scarlet ibis is found in andaman nicobar islands, northeast india, Malaysia & Indonesia. Habitat :- Mangrove swamps and Tidal forest of tropical Asia. They often prefer riverine forest and Mangrove forest. Sunderban delta in Bengal and Delta Avourei in Manipur is stronghold.
